Knowing it was a Guy Ritchie's film I had very high expectations. However, there was one disturbing moment - a genre, which I thought (mymistake) wasn't a good fit for his style and a well-known plot.

In fact, even knowing what will be the ending (we all know the good oldstory of King Arthur), I enjoyed the film from the beginning to thevery last phrase.

A quick turn of events did not give me a chance to be bored. The camerashowed the history of the future king with a completely newperspective. Dialogues were ridiculous even mentioning them afterwatching the movie. Music that perfectly complements the storydepending on the course of events. Little details through the movieconstantly reminding you that you are watching a Guy Ritchie's work.

One of the must-see films if you like action, combined with nice humorand not an ordinary style of storytelling.

Saw this at a Promo Screening last night and have been shocked by theharsh reviews from the critics.

I went in expecting to see a by-the-numbers generic fantasy like theones Disney churns out regularly. But instead I was surprised to findthat Guy Ritchie has applied to King Arthur the same style andtechnique that made his Sherlock Holmes films so beloved.

In this film is the witty dialogue and creative editing we've (at leastsome of us) have come to love from Guy Ritchie. There was never aboring scene throughout. The action is good, the effects are good, butit is the manner of delivery of it all that brings this to greatness.

The acting is solid, some characters are less developed than others butI did not feel that this hurt the movie at all.

I've seen King Arthur movies before but have never seen it told in thismanner, it is to King Arthur what Batman Begins was to Batman.

Should you see it? If you did not enjoy Guy Ritchie's other works, especially the Sherlock Holmes films then you may have issues with hisstyle, but if you were entertained by any of his other films then thereshould be no reason for you to not be entertained here also.

I saw this movie as a new release a few days ago. It was one of onlytwo movies available in the small town where I was.

I have to say that I found it truly awful in almost every respect. Ithad clearly cost a bit of money to make, and it does use some quitefancy computer-produced action graphics, but this doesn't compensatefor a boring and badly told story-line - with some of the most patheticdialogue you are ever likely to hear. To make matters worse, none otherthan David Beckham manages to show up (as himself it seems) somewherein the middle to spout some garbage. Even those who can claim to havesome acting credentials fail to make their words worth listening to.

The movie already seems to have several positive reviews here – but Ican only assume that these must come from the ultra-geek community, rather than from your average punter who fancies an entertaining nightat the movies. A lesson learned the hard way, and a waste of time andmoney.
